How to Talk with God

God communicated with prophets through direct speech, like in the case of Moses (peace be upon him) so that in Islam he was entitled ''Kalimullah'' or the one who always talked to God.

The Qur’an says what means:

{Allah talked to Moses.} (An-Nisaa' 4:164)

Or He communicated with them through indirect speech (revelation), like in the case of our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Qur’an says:

{And unto you have We revealed the Scripture (Qur’an) with the truth confirming whatever Scripture was before it, and a watcher over it.} (Al-Ma'idah5:48)

Tawheed - (Oneness of God)

The most fundamental aspect of all beliefs revolves around the total acceptance of the Absolute and Perfect Creator. Belief in the Originator of all causes and effects with no effect on Him and that He is One, Everliving, Beneficent and Merciful. He has neither a colleague nor a partner. He begets not, nor is He begotten, and there is none like Him. The Almighty God is Unique and is Absolute in the Absolute sense. No entity in His Universe can ever comprehend His true state and none should even bother to try for it will lead to futility and insanity. Yet there is no doubt in any sane mind that His existence precedes all and His presence is Absolutely ubiquitous (everpresent). For anyone to say that God does not exist is a liar and a fool because such a person can NEVER disprove His existence, whether scientifically or philosophically, or for that matter in any method known. Because He is Absolute and none is like Him, no one in the relative world can ever physically define Him, and thus all idol worshippers and those who ascribe a shape or a body to Him are wrong. Ascribing a shape to the One who is beyond our limited perceptions would be tantamount to lying and giving a false appearance and a false representation. In addition, to believe that one can see God in the physical sense of sitting on a throne like some mythical being is certainly an untrue statement and should never be accepted. The Almighty Creator brings to existence everything with utmost Perfection and nothing in His Universe is imperfect. Thus to state that the Creator has created imperfect things is certainly a false statement. He is the One and Only and is Absolutely independent of anything and everything that exists. Glorified be His names, the Most High!

The Promised Imam Mahdi (a)

In many religions there is an expectation for a savior to come and help the release from injustice. In Islam it is ‘Mahdawai’ which has a great international philosophy, because Islam is an international religion and Shia in its real meaning is an international factor. In addition to the Muslims especially the Shia, followers of other religions like Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians, and Hindus expect someone to come and bring peace and justice to the world.

"What Remains with Allah is better for you if you are believers (11:86)"

The Birth of the Imam (A.S): Al Hujjat ibn Al -Hassan Al – Mahdi (as) the 12th
divine leader of Islam was born on dawn, Friday the 15th of Shaaban 255 AH
correspondent to 868 AD in the house of the 11th Imam (as) in the city of
Samerrah (Iraq).

The Qur'an

The Qur'an is the last in a series of divine books revealed by Allah to mankind through the prophets. The Holy Qur'an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) over a period of 23 years and consists of 114 chapters arranged from longest to shortest. Its length compares to that of the New Testament. The revelations were written down by a group of people appointed by the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) and, after his death, first compiled by Imam 'Ali (peace be upon him).

what is islam

islam

Islam is the last and complete divine faith. A follower of Islam is called Muslim. There are now more than billion Muslims in the world. According to Islam, the prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah was the last prophet sent by God for guiding men. As the last heavenly scripture and through his archangel Gabriel the trustee, God revealed the holy Qur’an to him.

From Islamic point of view, all divine prophets namely, Adam, Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Elias, Moses, David, Solomon, Zachariah, John and Jesus (‘a) were grand and infallibles who struggled a lot to invite people for faith; they called on people for monotheism, justice, love, brotherhood, equality, chastity, away from abomination, good morals, worship and belief in the resurrection; they fought with tyrants and many of them were martyred in this path. The Prophet Muhammad (s) is the last one of these prophets who repeated their call and completed it. Islam is based on monotheism; the most important of its principles is wilayah (divine guardianship) and its sweetest fruit is moral characteristics. According to Islam, God has designated immaculate Imams who have assumed wilayah (divine guardianship) and guiding people after the passing of the Prophet Muhammad bin Abdillah (s). The first of these Imams is Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (‘a) and the last one is Imam al-Mahdi the promised. According to Qur’anic verses and Islamic doctrine, Jesus Christ was not crucified; rather he was ascended to heavens. He will come back to people at apocalypse. He will help al-Mahdi to establish the world just government.
From Islamic point of view, man is everlasting and death is not his last stop, rather there is another world after annihilation of this world in which the pious will enter paradise and retain the reward of their deeds, whilst wrong doers will enter hell and gain their punishment.
Believing by heart and confessing by tongue on shahadatayn (witnessing to the unity of God and prophecy of the Prophet Muhammad) man becomes Muslim and all Islamic divine laws are applied to him.
